The Muppets are readying for their big comeback with the November 23 release of a brand new feature film, The Muppets. In honor of everyone's favorite puppet crew, Broadway.com is flashing back to a series of our favorite Broadway Muppet Moments, in which stars of the Great White Way sing showtunes and share jokes with Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzy, Animal and more. When The Addams Family's Brooke Shields served as host The Muppet Show in 1980 (she was only 15 at the time!), her puppet co-stars decided to stage a production of Alice in Wonderland. However, leave it up to the zany Muppets to get their literary classics mixed up! While Gonzo channeled the Mad Hatter and Statler and Waldorf served as Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, Fozzy accidentally dressed as the Tin Man, which led the cast to belt out "We're Off to See the Wizard" from The Wizard of Oz. Check out the hilarious mishap below!
